Today was the 1.6 km run and it was a bad day for me. Not that I'm not fit enough to run, but I was very, very unlucky during the test. The test should start from 3.15 pm and end at 4.30 pm according to the form. But that was not my case. 6 Orchid ran first and they started late at about 4.00 pm. In the end, 6 Sunflower ran at about 4.15 pm. I was running as fast as I could, trying to maintain a constant speed although I felt as if I was about to collaspe. When I saw that I had completed the 7 th round, I was quite relieved. I ran to take the sash from my partner. It was the final round for me. It's time to RUN LIKE THE WIND!!!
Although I was extremely exhausted, I perservered. Wing Yan and Haiqal was ahead of me during that time. (Quite a big distance!) I switched to Turbo and dashed after them. At about 3/4 of the round, Haiqal was overtaken by me. Now, it's time to overtake Wing Yan. I was hot on her heels. In the last few seconds... YES!!! I won!!! I ran past the teacher that took our timing. Wing Yan was behind me. I went back to the teacher, who was now taking her timing. And... WTF?!? I lost to her?!? This was outrageous! I had overtaken her clearly, but I got a worse position?!? CURSES... >_<
To make matters worse, Haiqal's position was better that mine. He got 14 while I got a 15. I had clearly overtaken him! He was feigning arrogance although he knew that he had not truly won me, he said, "All that matter's is that I won you!" What an ignorant fellow. It was just not my day...
After that, I was asked to take the timings of the people in another class. Went home very late, at about 5.45 pm! Damn, I hate this test. It's just NOT FAIR!
