Have you ever had an experience with Lousy Services? When I mean lousy, I mean rude, comtemptuous and impatient attitudes towards people. Yes, I'm talking about people like stall-owners. Well, I had my experience today at Vista Point. I'll share it with you...

Normally, if you have a bad experience at somewhere or with some people, you will not name the latter. But I WILL tell you where I had this fustrating experience and warn you to think twice about visiting the place. Do you go to A Star Bookshop at Vista Point? (The one that is on the second level, near to the foodcourt.) Let me tell you, if you do, DON'T go there! The stall-owner's customer service attitude SUCKS.

I went there today with my brother while my parents were still eating at the foodcourt. I walked in and asked the stall-owner, which was a man, whether some DM cards were available. He did not even bother to look at me and muttered, "No." I had been expecting that answer anyway and proceeded to take a look around the store. Currently, there were no other customers inside the store. I was just browsing through some books and looking around when all of a sudden, the old man said to me, "Hey, don't touch everything you see" in a rude manner. I was taken aback at first but then ignored him. Next, I brought my brother to another corner of the store to look at some other books. Again, I had a look around and flipped through some pages of a book. "Hey," a voice came. I saw a stall assistant and knew at once what was about to happen. "These books are for little kids. Don't touch everything you see here!" At this point of time, I was extremely fustrated but still did not say anything. "One more time," I decided, "I would give them a piece of my mind."

The same thing happened later. This time, the stall-owner himself walked towards me and bellowed, "Don't you know how to follow instructions? I asked you not to touch everything you see around here. If you don't know how to listen to instructions, GO OUT!" This time, that was the last straw! My heart was burning with rage and I glared at him and retorted, "IS THIS THE WAY YOU RUN YOUR BUSINESS?!?" I thought to myself, "What kind of attitude is this? It's not like my brother and I are causing any trouble for him. If he wants to sell his books, how can he not allow people to browse???"

The stupid stall-owner glared back at me and thundered, "GET OUT! GET OUT OF HERE! DON'T COME BACK TO THIS SHOP!!!" "Fine," I thought to myself, "I will NEVER come back, not that I want to!" Don't you think that old man deserves a telling-off? I think he must have had a bad day, bullying kids! As I stomped out of the shop, some curious people stared at us, wondering what was happening. I walked out of the shop in a huff and went to Basic Point instead. I concluded that the idiotic shop-owner was officially CRAZY. He's a hooligan, a lunatic, a wacko, and ought to be sent to an asylum (mental hospital).

How can he run a business when he's the one driving the customers away? I told my mother about it and she tried going into the shop. When she came out, she told me that although she was browsing through the books, nothing happened. "So," I thought, "the nincompoop doesn't dare to scold ADULTS." Oh well, I'll just wish that MORON good luck in running his shop as sooner or later, no one will ever visit that place due to his impolite and contemptuous attitude.

Thinking about it, I ought to reprimand him even more about his business attitude! The point of this post is to inform all readers: DO NOT GO TO VISTA POINT'S A STAR BOOKSHOP ON THE SECOND STOREY!!! You do not want to be another poor victim of this stupid shop-owner!

POLL

What are your feelings about Mas Selamat Kastari's escape from detention centre?
I'm confident that the Singapore Authorities will round him up soon.
The Singapore Government has done a good job of keeping the country safe thus far. It's no big deal.
I think he will try to get in touch with other Jemaah Islamiah leaders and escape.
Huh? What are you talking about? Who is Mas Selamat Kastari?
