Okay. This post is about the PSLE Science Examination. Here's my comment on the Examintion: IT WAS FREAKIN' HARD!!! (Hmm... Another word that starts with an 'F' would describe the exam better...) I thought the Maths Exam will be the hardest. I was WRONG. The paper asked a lot of questions that are not commonly tested in normal practice. There were some questions that I was not sure of the answer. Tikum-tikum lor. What else is there to do? Leave it blank? At least trying is better than not trying. There is still a chance to gain some marks. (The chance is very slim, though.) :(
I hate it when after an exam, I know that even without the results, I had lost a few marks. That was what happened today. I knew I got the first question wrong after Fauzan said something aobut it. It was a cell question. They gave you a few choices and ask you to determine whether it is an animal or a plant cell by looking at the structure. As I was concentrating on answering other questions, I gave the wrong answer. Actually, both cells were plant cells. But there was no choloplasts in the first diagram. So, I naturally assumed that it was an animal cell. What I failed to notice was that although there was an absence in chloroplast... THERE WAS A CELL WALL!!!
Omg! Kena tricked by that question. With that, I waved goodbye to 2 marks. Well, it's over. I will be expecting to get about 70 marks or so. The chances of getting 260 marks as an aggregate seems to be VERY, VERY slim. Tomorrow will be the final battle in PSLE: Higher Mother Tongue. I don't worry much about it. The score doesn't count in the aggregate and will only come in useful when fighting for a place in Secondary Schools. Anyway, I had always been getting fairly good results in chinese, thanks to my Mother Tongue teacher, Mdm Chen Cong.
On to the Final Battle!
